My heart for missions
On a spontaneous mission trip to El Salvador in September 2021, God faithfully revealed His will for my life. He confirmed my call to missions, and I will be returning in March 2022 to spread the gospel to kids in unreached communities. The Lord's love and light will flood the streets of El Salvador in 2022!
Matthew 28:19
Born and raised in Indiana, I graduated from Indiana University with a B.S. in Neuroscience, in view of pursuing medicine. At the age of 12, I was immersed into the neonatal unit of my uncle's hospital and since then, have been working alongside a spectrum of physicians, further solidifying my affinity for medicine. After committing my life to Jesus in college, I went on a medical mission trip to King's Castle in El Salvador, where I explored the junction of ministry and medicine, engendering the intersection of my innermost passions. God illuminated how a believer and a physician both embody to bring healing through an intentional one-to-one relationship. With the gospel central to my life, I am commissioned to use medicine as a conduit to the salvation found in the Great Physician. Just as I have found a new life in Jesus, I want every heart to experience His unconditional love and everlasting joy!
In the landscape of today's dry and parched world, every longing heart can be quenched by the living water welled in Jesus. The Great Commission is a command to all believers, so that the gift of Christ can be shared with the lonely, lost and hurting.
" In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ”
Acts 20:35
My mission is to be the hands and feet of Jesus in a country that is spiritually thirsting to taste the goodness of God . I want the love of the Lord to vibrantly erupt in the streets, homes and hearts of El Salvador. By spreading the gospel to unreached places, a beacon of light can emanate hope in the midst of darkness.
"When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few."
